Located in the heart of Regent Square, Cibo (roughly meaning "food" in Italian and pronounced chee-bo) serves contempary Italian cuisuine with a distinct Southern Italian bent. Cibo features upscale yet casual environment, snd our nightly-changing menu guarantees both variety and unparalleled freshness. Cibo is a small, intimate space that is ideal for a date in the Square or an evening out with friends and family. 

Our talented kitchen is helmed by Executive Chef Eric "Red" Schwarzmeier. Though just 26, Schwarzmeier spent seven years as sous chef Squirrel Hill's La Cucina Flegrea, where he mastered the art of Italian cooking. Our ever-changing menu provides him the opportunity to showcase his skills and creativity at a level unprecedented in Pittsburgh. Red specializes in seafood. Try his mussels; trust us.

Owner Cindy DeFlavio and her husband Dino are Regent Square fixtures who own D's Six Pax and Dogs, The Loft, and the McBroom Beer Store. Cindy warmly greets all of our patrons and is thrilled to bring upscale dining to South Braddock. 

Cibo is BYOB and opens Monday-Saturday at 5PM.
